Local Government elections that was part of our democratic system was suspended in 1965!

Without a doubt the lives of Malaysians on daily basis is determined by governance at the local level. Policy decisions made by nominated (unelected) officials have a huge impact on all of us wherever we live!

The case for representative democracy and the demand for good governance via elected local authorities has been made by Civil Society for decades....
