“A Day of Shame” screamed the main stream media!

Apparently the actions of an insignificant number of “hooligans” from amongst 100,000 peace loving Anak Bangsa Malaysia makes a day of shame!

Do these beautiful people exercising their rights as citizens, deserve to be shamed?

The “Day of Shame” belongs to you… You the underlings of the powers that be!

It is you that locked us out of Independence Square!

The mission of the majority of us that turned up this historic day is eloquently symbolized by these young ladies….

We may have run helter-skelter from your tear gas and chemical-laced water showers…

But we will not retreat in fear!

The organisers of the next BERSIH protest must put together a platoon of marshalls in preparation. Such marshalls must be
• properly vetted; their background must be impeccable and trustworthy
• chosen from all sectors of the community, young and old, irrespective of ethnic background
• clearly identifiable; perhaps doning a uniform or armband recognised by members of the public
• given a clear brief - pure advisory role to the adjacent public
• in constant communication with the protest leadership; they must take instructions from the front and pass them to the protestors
• distributed along the whole length of the protest

Their purpose is merely to inform protestors what is happening at all corners of the protest.

The other thing is members of political parties wishing to be part of the protest must allow themselves to be subjucated to the BERSIH organisation; no politicking allowed.
