JomCheck, Malaysia’s first academe-media-civil society fact checking alliance successfully conducted fact checks as an initiative to combat misinformation during Malaysia’s recent 15th General Elections (GE15).

This sharing session is organised with the objective of convening members to share their experience, and to discuss and deliberate ways forward in addressing disinformation in the country.

Speakers include representatives from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, MyCheck Malaysia, MalaysiaKini, Bersih and Arus Academy.
