Now you know :) Seen at KLIA in the wee hours after midnight. Job specs: No fear of heights.

A relatively quiet hydraulic crane hoists a technician three storeys up into the air.

For a minute or so, the telescopic device just seems to extend on and on until the one-person carriage is just beneath the cavernous canopy. Down comes the blown bulb (it's big), and a replacement is attached back.

All in the space of less than five minutes, the technician is back on the airport's more reassuring granite floor.
